5th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS!

We have now been at our current premises 2, Melbourne Street for 5 years.

You are invited to join in our celebration party, including wine and a light buffet, on Friday 6th April 7pm - 9pm, which coincides with the open night for the April exhibition featuring artists who have had solo exhibitions in the past.

We can now accept payments worldwide through PayPal.

We can also undertake commissions which can be paid for through PayPal.

Constitution

The People's Gallery is a non profit making enterprise bringing affordable art to the community. Run by volunteers, to help promote local artists and for a membership of £20 per year, the amateur artist is able to exhibit their works and the gallery takes 20% commission.

Our ultimate aim is to encourage artists to have one man exhibitions. We feel that this will encourage artists to improve on their work and gain in confidence. We see the gallery being a meeting place of all levels and skills and hopefully inspire new members to tap in to the advice and skills of others.

Art classes are also offered to members of the community.

Lessons in Photography are now available from Peter Aitchison at the gallery.
